This is a movie about a woman who finds a lump and discovers that she has Breast Cancer… The movie is very touching and shows so wonderfully how she goes through such a hard phase in her life.. How she finds strength and her self-confidence from small things such as wearing red lipstick.. When due to Kiemo, she starts to lose hair, she says to herself that as her hair went thinner, her skirts would get shorter.. I would recommend everyone (specially women) to watch this really great Satire (dont know if I can call it that)…

You can download the movie on iTunes, if you can’t find it elsewhere..
It’s always a great feeling when you see a celebrity wearing something you already have… I recently spotted a picture of Preity Zinta wearing something similar to what I have.. And so decided to throw this out here… Don’t worry I am not asking you to vote here, so no pressure.. LOL!!
After 7-8 years of being away from it, I decided to go back to learning Hindustani Classical Music when I moved to CA.. Classical Music was a huge part of my life while growing up, but I had to let it go when I moved to the US.. To my luck, I found an awesome Guru (Mahesh Kale), whose way of teaching may be different from the traditional ways, but have appealed to many including myself… I have been taking the classes for about 2 months now, and I am very excited to be learning again… On Oct 6th, all the students of Mahesh Kale celebrated GuruPurnima (A event to thank the Guru for his teachings).. All of Mahesh’s students performed at this event, and the students vary anywhere from 5 – 50 years of age… Our group called Surabhi also performed a bandhish in Raag Bhairav.. Here’s are some pics and the video for the performance:
This past weekend on Sunday, Shank, Didi and I took the Bart up to the city to check out San Francisco’s famous Air Show which we had heard so much about.. And it totally lived up to it’s reputation.. We were treated with amazing stunts by various aircrafts including the Blue Angels.. A set of 6 Boeing Hornets performing absolutely crazy stunts in the air right above the bay water and right next to the Golden Gate bridge.. The best according to all 3 of us was the Sonic Boom that one of the planes created.. A Sonic Boom is a phenomenon which is created in the air when the plane crosses the threshold of the speed of sound.. There is a round ring of smoke that is created the moment the plane crosses the threshold, and it’s quite an exciting thing to watch.. Unfortunately I couldn’t capture it on video, but you can see one here http://youtube.com/watch?v=-d9A2oq1N38. I did however manage to get some awesome crossover stunts by the planes… Here are some Pics
