Last week Shank and I visited Jamaica to watch the Cricket World Cup Semi-Final between SriLanka and NewZealand… We also wanted to get some sun and relaxation so we enjoyed our small 4-5 day trip where we saw most of the island.. We stayed in a touristy part of the Island called Negril, and were putting up in a cliff side resort called Samsara.. The view was awesome as the rooms faced the massive ocean which were off the small cliffs.. We also hung out at the 7 mile beach in Negril where we got a lot of sun and tan… Then we drove to Kingston to see the match which was a great experience all together, the driving was a little tricky being the UK/India style but we managed fine… And for directions we had a map and lots of helpful Jamaican people to guide us…
And here are some pictures from the trip…
We did get a lot of TV time at the match…

This is one interesting controversy that I think we might all learn something from…. Too much politics in the name of the game… Its sad!! I was initially supporting Ganguly since I thought it was unfair to beat on the guy just coz he’s been a lil outta shape. But, after following the issue closely, it seems that there is more than I thought. Anyway, this may give you an idea about what i am saying.
